My starting point was discovery research - data
insights informed my design iterations, and I extended the Booking design system for mobile UI.
I was responsible for improving the in-trip, customer experience of the RentalCars mobile app. My final designs increased trip preparedness and reduced friction for over 7 million trips per yr.

UI/UX Design Lead at a Portland-based medical billing software start up. I improved the user experience and accessibility across web based application including ask management, reporting and dashboard features.

Bupa - Mobile Fitness app
Design Lead for Bupa's Smart Run fitness app.
The app featured an in-run timer, music player, run configurator, exercise videos. run diary and injury logger.

Vodafone - Mobile Web
@SapientNitro Agency
Lead Designer on a responsive mobile-web account management application. The solution was required to responsively adjust to a range of handset devices. Features included monitoring mobile usage and plan management. New features for Vodafone's online account migration and subscription service.

MTV - Video Streaming service
Conducted extensive user research for MTV Video On Demand service. Including in-lab study using Ovo and Tobii eye tracking. Focus groups, diary studies and web-based quantitative surveys, analyzed results in SPSS and excel and delivered detailed usability reports and recommendations to the client.

ASUS.com - Marketing site
Re-design of ASUS.com. New project range necessitated redesign which featured video led 'choose your own adventure' experience. Deliverables included storyboards, sketches and hi-fidelity, core user journeys and final mocks.

Job Search - Mobile Native
@Directgov. Lead Designer on JobCentrePlus project to extend their job search tools to mobile devices. The iPhone app. featured an easy to use predictive search interface, auto locate and bookmarking features. Designed a widget generator for third parties to configure and generate embed code for a JCP search widget.

Disney.com - Vacation Planner/Booking
@Razorfish/Publicis Agency. Re-conceptualized vacation planning and reservations for Disney.com. The goal was to create an immersive experience which would leave users feeling that planning a Disney vacation can be fun and easy. Featured an interactive map, enhanced itinerary planner, quick quote tool and user reviews and social itineraries.

Skype.com Redesign
Improved the UI/UX Design for their consumer facing website. Improved the overall site structure, navigation, product information and key interaction elements e.g. PAYG rate finder.
Skype.com was the winner of a Best Practises Webby Award.
